New order for solid fuel firing equipment in Bosnia (May 25, 2011)
BERALMAR has just booked a new order for solid fuel firing facility in Bosnia. It is for a PROMATIC system, soon to be installed in a kiln belonging to TOP ceramics in Banja Luka, the capital of Republika Srpska.
With this facility the TOP kiln will replace approximately 70% of its fuel oil consumption with petroleum coke for a production of about 230 tonnes/day of blocks. Fuel oil prices have rocketed, especially during the past year, in the entire Balkan region, a fact that encourages the use of alternative fuels like petroleum coke.
This will be the 9th solid fuel firing facility provided by BERALMAR in the last 3 years in the Balkans.
