New factory in Uzbekistan ()

BERALMAR has just commissioned a new factory in Uzbekistan. The new factory, called CERAMIC BRICKS, is located on the outskirts of the historic city of Samarkand, famous for being a hub on the silk route, as well as a first class tourist destination.

The factory features a direct setting dryer and a tunnel kiln, for the production of 200 tonnes/day of perforated bricks using 100% coal, and BERALMAR's solutions comprises:
  • All the factory’s mechanisms: cutting, settingg of kiln cars, dehacking of kiln cars and packaging.
  • LLEVANT direct kiln car setting dryer.
  • PRESTHERMIC high-performance tunnel kiln, equipped with a PROMATIC coal firing system.

The only fuel used in the factory is coal, which is promoted by the local authorities as the main source of thermal energy in the production of bricks. If in the future, natural gas could be consumed in the factory, even if only to install gas combustion units in the kiln preheating zone, production could rise to around 300 tonnes/day.

In any case, the combination of a direct setting dryer and the exclusive use of coal makes the new CERAMIC BRICKS factory in Samarkand the most automated and competitive factory in this Central Asian country, and from here we would like to thank the owners for the trust they have placed in BERALMAR to carry out this project.
