SUPPLY OF A SINGULAR FIRING INSTALLATION FOR WIENERBERGER

We live a few days of disruption in all aspects, in which BERALMAR has had to take decisions aimed at social responsibility and the continuity of the activity.

On the one hand, and to contribute to the necessary confinement, the BERALMAR headquarters is closed from the week of March 16. This logically has repercussions in production, which obviously remains on stand-by during these weeks of confinement, but as many suppliers and customers will have already been able to verify, the rest of the departments continue to operate: administration, purchasing, technical and commercial offices are operational at 100% by home office.

We all hope that this situation will normalize quickly and we can resume personal contact with all customers and suppliers as soon as possible.

In the meantime, remember that the entire BERALMAR team is at your disposal.

BERALMAR participated on March 2nd in the ceramic symposium organized by ECTS in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India).

This was the seventh symposium organized by ECTS in India, and brought together some seventy brick makers.

BERALMAR contributed to the symposium with a presentation by Bharath M S and Miquel Moix on the technologies that BERALMAR offers in India, with the support of BERALMAR INDIA, the local branch established in Bangalore.

BERALMAR has offered in India for more than two years complete plants with European engineering and local supply, that is, combining the know-how of the parent company with local costs plus the consequent savings in transport and tariffs that would entail a supply from Europe.

BERALMAR participated in the INDIAN CERAMICS ASIA 2020 fair in Gandhinagar (India) that took place from March 3 to 5 in the state capital of Gujarat, in the west of the country.

The fair started off marked by the announced absence of Chinese and Italian exhibitors due to well-known travel restrictions. Despite the fact that these restrictions, especially that of the Chinese who are the main exhibitors of this fair, raised fears of a low presence of visitors, the fair was a success in this regard, with a number of visitors similar to that of previous editions.

BERALMAR therefore makes a fairly positive assessment of this year's edition. Another thing is the development of the Indian ceramic industry: for many years there has been talk of mechanization and modernization of what is the second largest brick manufacturer in the world in volume, with some 100,000 production units that employ more than 10 million people, But despite a long decade of intense contact with the main European suppliers, the steps taken by the sector are few and shy.

BERALMAR will not give up on efforts in this regard, and we hope that some of the projects under discussion can become a reality.

At the beginning of March, a singular gas firing installation left the BERALMAR workshops, with destination to the factory that WIENERBERGER has in Kunigal (Karnataka, India).

The Kunigal plant is by far the most modern brick plant in the Asian country, and it already has equipment from BERALMAR, as a MICROMATIC installation with central grinding for the use of petroleum coke and mineral coals in the kiln, and a heat exchanger generator of solid fuels model GBS/1500 for the dryer, for biomass consumption, were previously commissioned

With the expected arrival of natural gas, the management of the factory has considered it appropriate to provide the kiln with a gas installation, and due to the uncertainty of the price of natural gas, it has been decided to request BERALMAR for a dual installation in order to automatically switch from natural gas to LPG and vice versa.

The existing MICROMATIC installation will not be withdrawn, and with the dual gas equipment WIENERBERGER will have the possibility of consuming both mineral coal and either type of gas, and in the most convenient rate at any time. At the same time it is also intended to increase the output of the kiln.

BERALMAR's supply consists of high-speed burners model FOC10 / MV, gas injection units model ICV, and a gas burner for the dryer, also dual.

The WIENERBERGER group is doing a great job in introducing ceramic blocks for modern construction in India, in a country that despite being the second in the world in volume of brick production, the majority of existing formats (solid bricks) they are not suitable for large, modern construction, which is being dominated by the consumption of cement blocks.
