ECTS, the working group comprising the main European suppliers in the ceramics industry, met on 5 and 6 November at the headquarters of NETZSCH in Selb (Germany).
NETZSCH is one of the founding members of the second group of the ECTS, dedicated to fine ceramics (tiles, toilets, technical ceramics, etc.), and manufactures measuring instruments, mixing machinery and all types of pump equipment.
The fine ceramics group met on Monday 5th, while the group dedicated to structural ceramics met on Tuesday 6th. In between, the traditional association dinner was held at the invitation of the host company.
The meeting of the group dedicated to structural ceramics addressed issues on the new regulations on emissions in industrial kilns in the European Union, among other things. The symposiums to be held in 2019 were also agreed upon, which we will duly inform you about in coming newsletters.
The next ECTS meeting will take place at REFRACTARIOS CAMPO (Sanxenxo, Spain), at the invitation of FORGESTAL, on 24 May.
