BERALMAR OBTAINS ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATION
INCREASED INVESTMENT IN TRAINING IN BERALMAR

ECTS, the working group comprising the main European suppliers in the ceramics industry, has already successfully organised various ceramics symposiums in India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Iran, and other places, and will soon hold two consecutive ones in Latin America.

The first will take place on Friday, October 6 in Lima (Peru), and the second on Monday, October 9, in Bogota (Colombia).

The venues of the symposiums will be:

Bogotá – October 9

ECTS symposiums are a good platform for bringing together European suppliers of ceramics technology with various ceramics industries from around the world through a format that combines a sequence of technical presentations by suppliers with B2B meetings. The entire ceramics industry of Peru and Colombia, as well as neighbouring countries, is invited to participate in these symposiums, after previously registering with the organization. The ECTS will soon send an invitation to an exhaustive list of contacts in the ceramics industries of Colombia and Peru. Regardless, anyone interested in participating can directly contact any BERALMAR regional representative who will gladly pass on the request to the ECTS:

We would like to thank everyone in the company for their efforts toward this achievement.

2016 saw a significant increase in investment in training in BERALMAR. A total of 38 employees from different departments received training in various fields:

• Languages (especially French, English and Russian)
• Programming
• Logistics
• Business
• etc.

The total time invested in training exceeded 2,000 hours in 2016.

Of all the investments that can be made, there is no doubt that training is the one that offers the most obvious return. Investing in training strengthens our organisation, empowers the people that work in it, and in a variety of ways ends up benefiting our customers.

The effort invested in training is similar in 2017. As the saying goes, "if you think that training is expensive, try ignorance".
