BERALMAR AT BATIMATEC 2017

BERALMAR will again participate in the BATIMATEC fair which will be held from 23 to 27 of April at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes in Algiers (Algeria).

Visitors can find the BERALMAR delegation at stand number AE15.

See you soon!

CONCLUSIONS FROM THE 2017 INDIAN CERAMICS FAIR

BERALMAR’s recent participation in the INDIAN CERAMICS fair in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India) was a great success.

This year, BERALMAR’s stand was larger and better-equipped than in recent years, in keeping with the company’s commitment to the ceramics industry in India. For this reason, among others, BERALMAR beat its 10-year record for fair visitors.

Congratulations are also due to the organisers of the fair, who manage to organise it better year after year.

We will see each other again in 2018!

CONCLUSIONS FROM THE 2017 KYIVBUILD FAIR

As previously reported, BERALMAR took part in the latest edition of the KYIVBUILD fair in Kiev (Ukraine) from 1 to 3 March.

Although there were fewer visitors this year, the event was a good opportunity to see familiar faces and discuss the main concerns for Ukrainian ceramists, mainly energy costs and the various alternatives to offset their impact on manufacturing costs.

We hope to continue supporting the Ukrainian ceramic industry in this way. At any rate, we will definitely meet again in Kiev next year.

COMMISSIONING A UNIQUE HEAT GENERATOR

BERALMAR has just commissioned a unique heat generator for BRIQUETERIE SAMARRA in Tangier (Morocco). The uniqueness of this generator lies in its fuel feeding, in this case olive pomace.

The solid fuel (biomass or coal) GB generators comprise a heat exchanger featuring an internal combustion chamber where a screw conveyor feeds fuel mechanically to the grill inside. In BRIQUETERIE SAMARRA’s specific application, the mixing chamber was above a reserve line platform, so fuel feeding was a problem to be addressed. The solution chosen was pneumatic transport, making it possible to freely locate the feed hopper in a convenient location. A hammer mill under the hopper ensures that the fuel can be transported pneumatically to the generator, where it is collected by a small sealed feeder featuring a built-in bag filter. The generator was installed thanks to this ingenious solution, which also yielded significant financial savings compared to the replaced fuel-oil generator.

The generator’s complicated location made fuel feeding difficult.

The solution was a pneumatic feed hopper, after milling the fuel.

BERALMAR is the top heat exchange generator supplier in the ceramics industry, as shown by the fact that in 2010 the company delivered its generator number 500. These units were in greatest demand during the 60s and 70s, to the point that they were mass produced at one point. In recent years, we have witnessed a spike in demand for heat exchange generators in some markets.
