• BERALMAR AT TECNARGILLA 2010

BERALMAR will again take part in the TECNARGILLA fair. Its 2010 edition will take place between 27 September and 1 October at the trade fair centre in Rimini (Italy).

Visitors will find the BERALMAR stand in Pavilion A5, Stand 161, where they will receive information about the following developments:

- BIOMATIC vegetable solid fuel firing systems.

- Generation of syngas gas from solid fuels.

- FOC20/FF cold-flame gas burners

- Solid-fuel firing system integrating PROMATIC AND MICROMATIC systems.

- Biomass heat generators.

• PARTICIPATION IN THE EXPOANICER TRADE FAIR (BRAZIL)

BERALMAR will be present at the "39 Encontro Nacional de Cerâmica Vermelha - EXPOANICER" which will take place between 24 and 27 August at the Centrosul convention centre in Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil.

BERALMAR's participation at the fair will be at the ECTS (European Ceramic Technology Suppliers) stand, where visitors will find the BERALMAR representatives. The stand number is 95.

• BERALMAR HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

As is customary in southern Europe, BERALMAR's employees will all take holiday during the month of August. For this reason, we inform our customers, suppliers and friends that during the month activity at the BERALMAR facilities in Terrassa will follow this schedule:

-Weeks 32 and 33 (August 2 to 13) » Low activity: approximately 30% of the workforce.

-Week 34 (16-20 August) » Minimal activity: customer service hotline and supply of urgent spares.

-Week 35 (23-27 August) » Low activity: approximately 30% of the workforce.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Starting Monday 30 August BERALMAR will return to normal its normal level of activity.

• SPECIAL ORDER FROM INDIA

BERALMAR has received an order for a MICROMATIC solid fuel firing system for a kiln for firing refractory pieces for TATA REFRACTORIES LTD. in Belpahar (India), which is part of one of the most important business groups in the world: The TATA group. Its subsidiary TATA REFRACTORIES LTD. is also the leading manufacturer of refractories in India.

What stands out about this order is the firing temperature of the kiln where the MICROMATIC system will be installed, which reaches up to around 1650 °C. Another noteworthy feature of the facility will be the lateral injection of fuel, which will be petroleum coke.

This will be the second BERALMAR solid fuel firing installation in India, after the Wienerberger-Kunigal factory in Bangalore.

• ORDER FOR 4 SOLID FUEL FIRING SYSTEMS IN COLOMBIA

LADRILLERÍA SANTA FÉ, the largest ceramic group in Colombia, has ordered four kilns from BERALMAR for their solid fuel firing facilities.

The system chosen by LADRILLERÍA SANTA FE is the most sophisticated for the use of solid fuels. The grinding plant is supplied with moist and ground mineral coal, and the process ends with the coal dry and micronized, up to 100 microns in diameter, <1% moisture, stored in a dry environment silo. This silo then feeds an entire MICROMATIC facility, according to its fuel needs. The entire system is controlled from a single location.

BERALMAR has previously provided this type of solution (Grinding + MICROMATIC) to ceramic plants in Chile, the United States, Morocco and India.
