MLADOST (SERBIA) ORDERS 3 MICROMATIC SYSTEMS

We want to finish this short series of articles on BERALMAR during the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic, reporting that since June 15 the entire BERALMAR team is already working in person at the Terrassa headquarters, and that even this month it has already been possible traveling to a couple of European countries to start up equipment that had been waiting for us for weeks. During this health crisis, which we cannot consider finished, there has been no confirmed cases of Covid-19 among the BERALMAR team so far.

In this way we achieve an operational normality that is almost complete, as for instance we cannot yet consider trips outside Europe, and also because we must keep on contributing to keeping the virus under control, respecting the basic sanitary measures at all times: use of masks and personal distance.

At this point we are very eager to publicly thank the consideration that a BERALMAR customer had at the beginning of March: MIRPUR CERAMICS of Bangladesh, the main ceramist in the South Asian country, for whom BERALMAR is currently supplying a complete brick plant In the northeast of the country, they did not hesitate to take the initiative of sending us a shipment of hundreds of masks for the use of all the personnel of our organization as soon as they learned of the unavailability of masks at that time in Spain. We are eternally grateful to them.

In any case and as we have been repeating, BERALMAR will continue to travel through this peculiar context and until the availability of the vaccine and the end of the pandemic, remaining 100% operational and safe.

Throughout its history, BERALMAR has been characterized, among other things, by the desire to gradually incorporate new products and solutions, and this is how the company has gone from being a manufacturer of burners only to becoming a complete supplier.

In a further step in this direction, BERALMAR has just added one more technology to its already extensive range of solutions for the ceramics firing process: high-temperature kilns up to 1,750ºC.

Under the leadership of Oriol Felisart and with its 35 years of experience in supplying high temperature DUM furnaces, BERALMAR offers a wide range of high temperature kilns to provide solutions for both structural and fine ceramics: kilns for the technical and refractory ceramics, artistic ceramics, sanitary ware and calcination of raw materials for ceramics, with a full range of solutions:

• High temperature tunnel kilns.
• Intermittent kilns. .
• Bell kilns.
• Intermittent kilns for R&D.
• Single wagon kilns for dewaxing.
• Bottom loading kilns.
• Tempering kilns.

BERALMAR has received an order for 3 MICROMATIC installations from the MLADOST group (Serbia).

The three installations are destined for the MALA PLANA, STALAC and VLASOTINCE block factories, replacing the 3 PROMATIC systems that were installed in these factories between 2008 and 2011.

In all three cases, the existing petcoke grinding mills will be kept and used to feed the silos of the MICROMATIC systems, so the factories will live in the best of worlds in the management of petroleum coke: they will enjoy hygiene of work and the precision of regulation of the MICROMATIC system, while they will continue to benefit from the low price of granulated petcoke by keeping the grinding on site.
