NEW SOLID-FUEL FIRING FACILITY IN THE BALKANS

As announced, BERALMAR took part in the latest edition of the CERAMATECH fair, which took place from 24 to 27 January in Moscow (Russia).

Over the past years, CERAMATECH has become the benchmark Russian fair for structural ceramics. In this sense, it did not disappoint in the number and quality of visitors, especially bearing in mind the current situation and the euro/ruble exchange rate.

BERALMAR has a good understanding of, as well as experience with, the Russian market. It has recently completed projects for two very unique Russian factories:

- EKOKLINKER (Novocheborksary): factory capable of producing 200 tonnes of clinker and paving stones per day, the first of its kind in Russia.

- KCM-2 (Siberia): factory capable of producing 300 tonnes of solid bricks per day, operating 100% on mineral coal.

Considering these precedents and our continuing relationship with the Russian market, we’re sure we’ll meet again at the 2018 CERAMATECH fair.

BERALMAR will once again participate in the INDIAN CERAMICS fair, to be held 1-3 March at the Gujarat University Exhibition Centre of Ahmedabad (Gujarat).

Visitors will be able to find BERALMAR at stand B101 in Hall B, where they’ll be able to hear first-hand about the various projects for complete facilities that BERALMAR offers through its local Indian provider in Bangalore.

BERALMAR has just booked a new order for a solid-fuel firing system in the Balkans. It’s for the ceramics plant IGM STRAŽILOVO in Sremski Karlovci (Serbia). The plant belongs to the Croatian holding company NEXE GROUP, which has ordered a MICROMATIC micronized petcoke firing system from BERALMAR.

The MICROMATIC facility will replace 70% of current natural gas consumption and achieve a production rate of 300 tonnes per day as well as significant savings in energy bills for the factory.

This is now the second petcoke firing facility that BERALMAR has supplied for the ceramics plant, which has two production lines, and the fifth for various factories of the NEXE group, thus proving the level of satisfaction and trust of their technical managers in BERALMAR.
