The biannual meeting of the European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS), of which BERALMAR a member, was held on 19 May in Frankfurt (Germany).

The group has grown since the last meeting in September 2010, with 3 new members: BEUMER (Germany), SABO (Greece) and CERIC TECHNOLOGIES (France). With these additions ECTS now has 27 member companies.

During the meeting the group discussed common issues such as joint promotion in various markets for the technologies developed by member companies.

Another issue discussed was the production of a documentary video that ECTS is handling for the promotion of ceramics as a material for modern buildings, which will surely be of interest to the ceramics industry as a whole.

We look forward to seeing you!

BERALMAR's Technical Director and Algerian Market Manager, welcoming visitors.

After the BATIMATEC 2011 fair in Algiers (Algeria), the BERALMAR team has noted that this show is growing year after year, becoming the most important of its kind in the construction sector in the Maghreb.

The strong presence of suppliers of equipment for structural ceramics was particularly noteworthy at this edition, as well as the number of professional visitors from the sector. BERALMAR has been present at the fair ever since the first edition in 1998.

The dates of the next edition have already been announced: 6 - 10 May, 2012. We'll meet again for sure.

  • News and Accomplishments

BERALMAR has just booked a new order for solid fuel firing facility in Bosnia. It is for a PROMATIC system, soon to be installed in a kiln belonging to TOP ceramics in Banja Luka, the capital of Republika Srpska.

With this facility the TOP kiln will replace approximately 70% of its fuel oil consumption with petroleum coke for a production of about 230 tonnes/day of blocks. Fuel oil prices have rocketed, especially during the past year, in the entire Balkan region, a fact that encourages the use of alternative fuels like petroleum coke.

This will be the 9th solid fuel firing facility provided by BERALMAR in the last 3 years in the Balkans. | Change language | Unsubscribe | Disclaimer
