Presentation at INDIAN CERAMICS sho

On 12 March, during the INDIAN CERAMICS 2008 show in Mumbai (India), BERALMAR will be making a presentation under the title “Modern and feasible firing systems for the ceramics industry”.

The presentation will be given during the “New Age Ceramic Technologies” symposium, organised by the ECTS group (European Ceramic Technology Suppliers), of which BERALMAR is a member.

Construction business in India is experiencing unprecedented growth, and the outlook is for a complete overhaul of its ceramics industry.

Through the presentation, BERALMAR hopes to share with the Indian ceramics industry its know-how and experience in solid fuel firing using cutting modern and efficient technologies.

After 24 years developing modern solid fuel firing systems, BERALMAR is the most experienced such supplier in the market.

New FOC10 gas burner

BERALMAR’s R&D team has just finished specifying and testing the company’s new FOC10 high-speed gas burner.

The FOC10, which joins the full range of natural gas firing equipment, is a high-speed burner with calorific input yields ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 Kcal/h. Development of this new high-speed burner has sought two key goals:

Ability to install high-speed burners with moderate heat output in firing areas.

The need to install high-speed burners with moderate heat output in preheating areas with high concentration of fire points, where installing burners such as the FOC20, outputting 40,000 to 200,000 Kcal/h, provided minimal oversized heat output .

The new FOC10 has already been installed at a ceramics works near Barcelona.

BERALMAR’s website will be updated soon with details of this new burner.

Gas burners in South Africa

This month we must highlight an order from BRIKOR, one of South Africa’s leading ceramics groups, entrusting BERALMAR with full supply of gas burners for two tunnel kilns used in the manufacture of facing bricks.

The supply involves FOC20 high-speed burners and CGI pulse burners.

And so, BRIKOR has again placed its trust in BERALMAR, after acquiring a few years ago two PROMATIC mineral-coal firing facilities.
